Content wise, my dds said it’s interesting and manageable. But they claimed it’s difficult to score in exam. Seems that different trs prefer different styles of writing and they were often confused which is the right or better way. Also there’s a lot of writing during exams, so there’s a need to know the content well and think and analyse fast on the spot. -
Its always more difficult to score in Humanities subjects regardless of how good you are in English Language vs Science subjects.

Thanks Lervin and Zbear for the advise. So I guess Geog N Lit are difficult to score too? I still need information on the Geog and Lit syllabus. Anyone? Thanks in advance.

Although it maybe difficult to score in Humanities, you still need to see your child's strengths n weaknesses.
My DD is a Humanities person n she does better in her Humanities subject than her Science subject. Unfortunately, her Science subject is now pulling her score down although she puts in a lot of efforts in that subject.
So pls be careful when you make your selection. -

DHS has a strong Geog dept for SH...Consistently churning out high % of As in A Level...
Yr 3 : Physical Geog
Yr 4 : Human Geog -
Thanks, zbear and Augmum for your advise.
I just realize that promotion criteria for Y3 to Y4 is L1R5 where R1 must be a humanities subject. In that case, double humanities will be the better choice cause we can choose the one with better grade, isn’t it?
