Yup, when I reprimand my maid, I'll let her know the stuff she did right and my appreciation on that.

Although her eyes will still redden and tears will flow, at least (I hope) she doesn't feel she's a lost cause.

Agree, I never let my maids know they are indispensible.

My godma's ex-maid knew that and she never loses any opportunity to talk back to my godma or show black face to her cos she felt secure in her job.

:!: :!: Dont let them know we love them

Love with discretion...[/quote]Can try reading this book call \" The 5 Languages of Love\". It is very helpful and applies to anybody. Everyone seems to have been born with a dominant/preferred love language, and when we show them love according to their love language, they will be able to feel appreciated.

                Hi Charmaine_chong,

Try also http://www.airfares.com.sg. They have maid fares (which may/not be cheaper), but they also have promo fares listed for the destination. Jetstar may be cheap, but depend on when you book.

You may want to check out Cebu Pacific? It flies to Manila through Budget terminal. My son happened to take this airlcraft with his school team to Manila last week.
Jetstar prices is very much depending on when you book it. If you have time to monitor then you may just be able to get a cheaper flight, otherwise, could be fairly expensive.

well, Philippines air, according to airfares.com.sg, is $250 for 1 way ticket to Manila. $180 is ok.

Curious, with budget air cutting down on frills, I wonder if it is mandatory for employers to provide airtickets with check in baggage allowance. Previously, this was all in, but now it’s optional item. hmmmm
