Granite vs Quartz
-
Hiaweh:
Anyone has experience using Ceaserstone Quartz for their kitchen countertop? Undecided whether to use granite or quartz.
I used quartz for my kitchen countertop. -
My kitchen top is silestone (quartz). 5 years. So far so good.
-
Me too! Converted from granite to Quartz. Happy so far. I’ve been able to put cookware /bakeware fresh off stove or oven on the surface. Easy to clean.
-
Any issue with chipping and staining? Also cost consideration, quartz is more expensive.
-
So far, nothing’s happened. But it’s only been 6 months. More expensive? I was told it was cheaper than granite.

Yep, mine is 8 months old now. Very easy to maintain. And I was also told it is cheaper than granite. -
