Can anyone enlighten me on why lower sec IP girls don’t have chemistry tested in their exam? Is it less important than physics / bio?

I believe they are tested on all 3 Sciences. My girl's in Year 1 IP this year. For mid-year, they were tested on Chem & Bio. For year-end, they were tested on Physics & Bio.

                not to every student

students will be notified by MOE, whether child can pursue HCL or not from Sec 1 onwards, from PSLE results

For IP, HMT is a must. As for ‘O’ level there is a option.

                    Hi, sushigal,

Thanks for reply. How about old Chij st Nicholas girls as the cut of point is 230, is the school offer them HCL as well ?

The school will always encourage those able to take HMT. If student unable to meet the standard of HMT, then they will be asked to take normal Chinese for ‘O’ level only.
