Sometimes, PSG (Parents Support group) set up the booth to sell umbrella, sell files, socks at $10 (for 3 pair of socks, can choose the size)

can call up office (tel : 6468-4377), inquire when is the next time PSG set up booth, to sell things ?

Socks prices give up. Think 3 for $12 now

            Hi!

Anybody can share more about the P 6 graduation party? 😄

is a fun, gathering party time for P6, got lots of food makan, to see one another for the last time, before they each go separate way to different Secondary schools next year.

Eg : see which girl is the dancing Queen, dance the best, from which P6 class ?
(Party time : girls let down their hair, wear pretty dress, happy, go wild dancing, shake their body, to the beat of the vibrant music)

here is one sample of 2012 P6 graduation

            https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EXffxoUxm_U

            from \"My Fair lady\" song :
We could have danced all night,
We could have danced all night,
and still have begged for more
            ...

Thanks phtthp for your reply! :rahrah:
Now I have an idea of what the graduation party is like.

                for P3 -

(3H, 3I) classes do not exist.

hence, at end of Term 4 :
P2 pupils from classes (2H, 2I) will be distributed, to one of the seven (3A to 3G) classes

                for P3 :
there isn't any best (Top) class.
All are \"Multi-talented\" (Mixed ability) classes.

                ====================================

At the same time, there will also be new students from other primary schools, offered Transfer successfully into Rgps to join us in 2016 P3 new academic year, based on their (P1 + P2 year end results submitted, plus whatever talent / prefect / leadership skill displayed).

Our Principal have selected them, out of plenty of keen, eager Transfer application submission received from various primary schools in Sg since January 2015, and had offered them, after an interview with pupil and parents. The dateline to accept /decline Transfer offer, is this Thursday (5 Nov 2015)

Some of these candidates offered Transfer into Rgps at end of P2 Term 4 :
                hail from SAP primary schools.
Since RGPS implemented Higher Chinese from Primary 1, we warmly welcome SAP primary school students, into our midst.
Let us warmly welcome all newly Transfer-in students into our school, as they start their new academic year afresh in January 2016, with all of us.

Although RGPS is not a SAP school, however since we had implemented Higher Chinese from Primary 1, Chinese is an important subject that we do consider.

Only the same Chinese Tr follow up, from P1 to P2.

Of the 3 subjects, Chinese is a subject that require detailed follow up progress, on individual students.
(Pupils usually no issue, with English nor Maths)
So, no change for Chinese Tr.

P2 classes usually change to a different P2 English, or a different P2 Maths Tr, from P1.
It is good to have a change of Tr, after studying one year so long.
(just in case some Tr happen to show favoritism, to their "pet" students (if any))

For my dd, she has the same English and Mandarin teachers, but a different Math teacher, when she moved up to P2. Now in P3. Hope that helps.
