      Hi Sydneybb

Pls share the name of the science ctr. My friends are keen to send their kids to psle camp next year. Thank you.
It is Science Alive in the east.
My son is joining their PSLE Headstart camp this Dec - 2 full days to occupy him.

My son is usually alone at home as both my hubby and I work, so I'm also looking for Chinese or Eng oral camps/lessons for him this Dec.
His sch does not seem to practise a lot on oral. He didn't do well for oral.
Any centre to recommend? Must be in the East as he will need to travel there on his own.

Yes, for my dd. Her maths tuition started last week on p6 topics. From me, I've asked her to finish up the balance of the exam papers, 1 paper, 1 subject everyday if possible. So far, only 2 papers done. I don't want to see her watching TV progs (we don't have ipad at all, i refused to buy and she cant turn on the computer without my permission) whole day long and so have instructed her to read or do papers. Need to keep the engine going on amongst all the leisure time.

When math tuition begins, there will be homework and also teaching ahead of school...hopefully can finish early to start revision. I have planned work for her...probably tone down near Christmas.

Definitely need to keep the engine going this November or else it will be hard to gear up for next year. There will still be leisure/fun time though.

Not planning to go intensive...just some daily practice. Have to save energy for next year.

I have given DS a week of total freedom and will soon start working on P6 work.

If I have to buy one P6 English assessment book to keep DS on his engine, what would you recommend? For science, would it be advisable to get the PSLE science 5 years series?

For science, not sure there is anymore 5 yr series. I saw 3 yr series 2012-2014 only. Nx yr, school will ask u to buy the psle past yr exam que, most likely the 3 yr series 2013-2015 (if no more 5 yr series). If u buy now, then u hv duplicate 2013 & 2014.
