Those who are in 4E-4H did very well (four band 1, including Band 1 in CL) will be recommended to take HCL or they can go to 5A or 5C if they don’t intend to take HCL

. Not all in 4A-4C will be recommended to take HCL. Some of them did not do as well as when they were in P2.

My kid(P4) scores,
English: high 80
Math: mid 90
Science: mid 90
CL: high 70 -> estimate cuz overall mark not known yet. only main paper.
HCL: Failed -> :slapshead:
I wonder which class she would be allocated.

Just got the form to choose the subjects today. I guess we will know early this year.
According to principal letter, students will be going to their new classes on last day, 19 Nov.

FYI, if I am not wrong, from P5 to P6, there is another round of HCL allocation/recommendation.

P5 to P6 in terms of HCL will be determined and decided by school based on actual P5 performance (esp, those not recommended by school but insisted by parents). School only allows parents to have a say when going to P5, including not taking up HCL as recommended.
