Yes, correct.
Tue (17 nov) is effectively the last day of school Term 4 for (P1, P2), because -
Wed (18 nov) : parents meet (Form Tr & subject Tr), for the Child's Progress status report, but kids no need to go to school.
After session meeting, parents can return the signed Report card, give back to the Form Tr in charge, to keep.
Thur (19 nov) : no school, unless parents have been specially invited by P to see their kids go up the stage, to collect their award / prizes, from P.
Fri (20 nov) : no school
only P6 girls bid \"Auld lang syne\" departure to one another, busy prepare Farewell Graduation party.
Hence, Tues (17 nov 2015), is the last day of school, at Mount Sinai (Ghim Moh)
We shall see one another (\"hou hui you qi\"), when new Year start at Hillcrest, on Monday (4 January 2016)

I have some questions regarding the higher Chinese. Just reviewed the first P1 test book. The words appeared in the text book are a lot more than the quantity required in the MOE vocabulary. Actually, about 300+ more. During test, does RGPS strictly follow MOE vocabulary?
Of course, as a kiasu parent, the more the better, just not during test… -

My girl in P1 this year. We follow very closely to the text book. At the back of the text book there are list of words per chapter on what they need to know how to read and what they need to know how to read and write. The test papers follow very closely to those and won't deviate from them. Teacher won't test what they have not taught. I've not seen the moe list so I'm not sure comparing to that. -
Hi dardar63,
Thanks for the info. I’m relieved. -
Anybody can share more about the P 6 graduation party?
[/quote]
is a fun, gathering party time for P6, got lots of food makan, to see one another for the last time, before they each go separate way to different Secondary schools next year.
Eg : see which girl is the dancing Queen, dance the best, from which P6 class ?
(Party time : girls let down their hair, wear pretty dress, happy, go wild dancing, shake their body, to the beat of the vibrant music)
here is one sample of 2012 P6 graduation

HI again, tks for the above link! .....brought back memories for me cos I just saw my girl on stage. I cannot forget that day whn i witness them receiving their leaving certs in the morning and thereafter dd changed to casual clothes for the last gathering. . took pictures of them holding their certs with friends. Parents left them to party till 5pm. I remember coming back to pick my dd, it was an emotional time for her... dd told me some cried and hugged during the party as they will have to part. Ahhh,,, looking back it was a good 6 years. A lot of ups and downs but we hv to accept the different stages in life...O how time has passed, yikes: dd will be in level 4 next year. -

Anyone has any idea when can we hear from the school bus provider?
School bus driver will only call you, during the last few days of December 2015 after Christmas is over, just before 4 Jan 2016 new academic Year about to start.
Driver only contact parents, after they have planned out in detail the entire route to travel, from the first student what time to pick up to board school bus, until the last pupil what time to pick up.
