but I do not have Indian or Malay costume and don't want to go and buy one specially for this event cos will probably wear 1 time....so how ?
We bought a Malay costume from Geylang Serai Malay village in P1. My DH who took DS to buy, bought a bigger one (kiasu syndrome) and my son has been wearing that for 3 years although by P3 it was a little short.
Although I cannot remember the exact price, I am sure DH spent under S$20 for that. So anyone going to Malay village to buy?

Hi
Anyone know whether there is swimming PE in Tao Nan?

Thanks ... is it necessary for my DS to know how to swim before that? -
tankee:
I am not sure leh. I think it is better/easier if he knows although DS did mention that they split up the group by their abilities, ie they have a separate group for the beginners. IMHO, I think it is good to learn swimming even if you disregard the PE issue as it is a skill and I think this is also required in NS, although I am not 100% sure. JMHO.

Thanks again.
We had always wanted to let DS learn swimming but had been postponing it due to DS's sensitive nose. A trip to the pool would usually ending up with him having running nose.
