      Hi

Anyone know whether there is swimming PE in Tao Nan?

      πŸ˜„

Yes, 1 term of PE in P3 is swimming. Hope this helps.

Thanks ... is it necessary for my DS to know how to swim before that?

I am not sure leh. I think it is better/easier if he knows although DS did mention that they split up the group by their abilities, ie they have a separate group for the beginners. IMHO, I think it is good to learn swimming even if you disregard the PE issue as it is a skill and I think this is also required in NS, although I am not 100% sure. JMHO.

          Thanks again.

We had always wanted to let DS learn swimming but had been postponing it due to DS's sensitive nose. A trip to the pool would usually ending up with him having running nose. 😞

I went TNS to pick up my DS after school today.

From what I saw, only about 1 out of 5 students wore costume. Majority of them are in Chinese costume, some were in Korean, I saw a Jap and 2 Singapore Girls.

I understand that those having PE today need not wear costume. And according to my DS, only slightly more than half his class wore costume.

DS was quite happy as his whole group wore costume.
