Yesterday received confirmation from School on the Class Allocation for my DD2. She is in 1 Joy. Any parents’ here in JOY? -

Hi. My girl used to be 4Joy but due to being weaker in Math...she was posted to 5Love this year.
Not to worry too much since your girl is making a good start out in CHIJ OLN by enrolling!

I beg to differ lol. Not trying to be offensive but my girl is in P5 but due to the criteria for performances in Maths as well as English…some of her classmates are reshuffled…transferred to another class next year.
My girl remained same as before of which I am glad as she won’t feel "unsettled" in a new class upon reaching her last year in CHIJ OLN and having to sit for her PSLE in 2016. -
And for all parents whose child enrolled in CHIJ OLN next year can be assured that the school has excellent Principal, Discipline Mistress, staff teachers…there is a "buddy" system in place for newly enrolled students.
This is to ensure the newly enrolled Primary 1 students are well taken care of…show them around to familiarise them as to "how to buy foods in canteen" etc…
The" buddy" are usually the ones from P4 or P5 and/or prefects as the individual buddy for each new girl in P1.
It was a great relief for me when my girl was in P1 many years ago as my girl is rather reserved lol. -
It will be the orientation day next Monday.
