Students are not allowed to use hp in class. Just ask your child to show his/her tscore to you using his/her fingersIf your child has to collect from the FT in the classroom n parents have to wait outside, just ask yr child to sms the 3digit number (t score) as it usually takes a while for the child to get out of the classroom provided you can't wait to know the results.

i remember my sonβs classroom was on 4th floor.
parents have to wait on 1st floor. -

Oh yeah ....that was the MUCH awaited \"3 digit SMS\" ...which seemed to take \"so long\"...
i recall parents could only wait at the sch canteen while the pupils were anxiously waiting in the hall...( depends on yr child's sch)
My gal told me that she couldnt wait for the principal to finish her speech...
before the annoucement of the Top pupils' T- score...
Guess such annoucement has been scrapped off now ??LKT:
Oh really ? But tmr is not the usual lessons day...

Dont think can see clearly with using fingers to show the digits...as classrooms of P6 pupils are usually located at the top levels... -
LKT:
have waited for 6 yrs. Surely can wait a few minutes more.

These days schools are not encouraged to announce the top scorer nor acknowledge those with t-scores above 250 or 260.
My dd primary school principal gave a long speech from 11.10am to 11.30am, about the schoolβs overall performance and progress etc, before the release of individual result to pupils in the hall.
Parents were seated at the back of the hall.
Pupils were called at random by their FT to collect their result slip and before long, the parents would swarm to the rows of pupils who would be chatting and comparing their t-scores and nos. of A*.
Then parents would do the same as they lingered in the hall and tried to find out if their kidsβ results were relatively good and would congratulate or console one another. Some would check with the top pupils (based on school prelim results) and make their own conclusion of the top t-score of the school since school leaders might not wish to reveal such information. -

Hi parents, may I suggest u hv a chat with ur kids before Wed to manage their expectations. Kids may hv a certain expectation of their t-score/stream/school they are going and may not know how to react when it falls below expectations.
Same parents' expectations need to be managed too -
What is your P6 child doing now β¦ the night before results?
