      Hi mummies,

I stumbled upon this, i think is by creative technologies:

      http://www.wawayaya.net/learn/welcome.asp?pagetype=cn

I'm still in the midst of checking it out.
This site looks interesting! But it's more of a computer based resource, right?

Seems that Odonata and Pelangi both have their structured chinese reading books, and use the same concept, 2 new words a page to get children to learn to read. Anyone tried both? Which is better?

        Hi,

Elm tree distributes the books to Popular and thus they are a bit cheaper.
There is a retail store at Suntec City. HTH 🙂

Just an update on ordering books from dangdang.

It is indeed much easier to use Amex to order. You don’t need the original Amex, those by DBS or UOB can do the job nicely.

And for people who are interested to join sprees in another forum, please read carefully all the postings.

I think there is one spree organiser who messes up all the order, and now the spreeists are chasing her for refund, but have yet to hear from her.

Agree with Tamarind that it is still best to order oneself if possible.

                Hi MMM,

Can I check if you have a full complete set for the 100, 200, 300, 400, and 500 words when you bot from popular? Is it 8 books per level?

My FIL was said some of the books in level 100 was out of stock. so he din buy for me. 😞

The pelangi website link also states that the set they are selling is not complete. So I'm just wondering if there is still a full complete set available.
                Hi

Understand from Popular that 7 new sets just arrived at Bras Basah's outlet on Wednesday and i have purchased the whole set (100 to 800 words) with 15% discount yesterday (chinese storybook's fair - not sure any further discount given for popular)

Check it out before the rest are taken up!!

                  Hi,

I paid around MYR5.50 per book. Around S$2.30.

Autumnbronze mentioned that she bought it in Singapore. Autumnbronze, do you remember how much you paid for it? I observed that there is usually a price difference of around S$1 per book.
                  Hi MMM,

I just came across your post.

I can't really remember. I think I paid ard $20 plus, close to $30, if my memory serves me right. But my pack came with a CD as well 😄

                      Hi

I’ve seen the 100 words set at popular thomson. Around $28, and comes with CD.

I paid $119.39 for the whole set with the CD. Note: It does not come with flash cards.

The stories are quite interesting and my girl enjoys reading the books so far..
