May I know how many Olympiads can one take now ? It seems that NUSH is starting their Olympiad modules for Physics & Biology earlier than previous years ... From what I know, PO is usually in Year 3, BO in Year 4. Has this changed ? :scratchhead:
Do you mean Majors or Honours ? Or just Electives or Enrichments ? Thanks.57dolphin:
For all students joining NUSH next year, you will get a new option.
NUSH will be starting a new \"Galileo \" programme next year.
It about aerospace, students will have to do 3 NUSH modules and will be involved in building nano satellite.
Dr Hung announced it in this year convocation. -
Dagong,
Sorry my typing error.
Students in the Galileo programme have to take 3 NUS modules in 2 years. -

For NUS module, each module last for 1 semester or 2 ? How about existing students who are already taking NUS modules ? I tot the max they can take at a time is 2 NUS modules ? Thanks ! -

Thanks Sun_2010, thanks dagong99.
For 3rd language ie Japanese, can my son opt to study at NUS high and pay $100/mth instead of commute to Bishan or Newton (MOELC) on year 1?
This year, the EESIS cut off above 260. Those scored T260 did not get the offer in the Eligibility letter. Any idea if still have chance? -

This year's T-Score is surprisingly higher compared to past 3 years and EESIS cut off is higher at 262. But not to worry, MOE has other scholarships that you may get or try in secondary and JC level as per MOE website :Thanks Sun_2010, thanks dagong99.

Some of which EESIS recipients are not eligible. There are also many other scholarships that are available, e.g. A-Star, YDSP, DSTA, SPF, etc.

Without MT, I think those with 4.8-4.9 previously will have a high chance of getting perfect CAP.Hi

Hi,
Mulling over third language decision and choice.
What is the time commitment for third language? Is it twice a week and after school curriculum hours? What is the lesson duration?
What happens if lesson clash with CCAs or competitions or interest groups etc?
What is the end game? Study 4 years and take āOā levels? Does this apply to Malay, Japanese and French?
TIA.
