Thyroid disorder

Now that it has been a few months I am on medication, on some days I can feel my heart beating a little faster. A check of my heart beat using a phone apps shows BPM is 80+
Is 80+ BPM normal?
This usu happens when I am doing housework. -
Hi Jen,
When I am calm and relaxed, my heart beat is 60/min. I donβt time my heartbeat otherwise since more vigorous activities would contribute to faster heartbeat. Prior to treatment, my heartbeat was impossible to time even when I was relaxed, so my benchmark would be when I am calm and relaxed.
Can I check if you go for your blood test and review on a 4-to-6-week basis? My sister mentioned that hers is every 3 months, so I am wondering if my visits/reviews have been excessive. -

I am seeing the doctor every 6 to 8 weeks. More frequent than your sister. Lately feeling more stress due to %#%# caused by other people  -
Thanks, Jen. Today, I went for my review, determined to ask why my visit frequency was 4 to 6 weeks when others' were not so frequent, but before I could ask, the doctor told me she would see me in 2 months' time!
She even said if the results show that my Trab index goes into the normal range, she would reduce my medication to 1 or half a tab for 2 or 3 times per week, and wean me off the medicine totally

:congrats:
My Trab test is due next month. :xedfingers:
I have been waking up in the middle of the nights more frequently lately. Heartbeat seems more noticeable too.

Jennifer:
I do trab test for almost every blood test every 4 to 6 weeks. Don't you? The hospital only runs trab test on Wednesdays so I have to get my blood test done on Mondays or Tuesdays.

My doc always reminds me that I have to call her if I notice myself having heart palpitations or feeling unwell with symptoms of hyperthyroid again so that she can adjust my medication accordingly. You might want to let your doc know and see what she says? -
So far, the January 2016 Trab test will be the 3rd one. Did not do it at every blood test.
The palpitation is not always there, once a while only. Most times I feel alright.

Hi Jennifer,
I have been diagnosed with Thyroid since last August. Recently I realised that one of my eye is bulging out. My GP recommend me to see a specialist due to the bulging eye. Do you feel that you have bulging eyes too? I know not all will have bulging eyes but am really scare.
Been thinking what if the eye do not return back to normal. Haiz⦠-

I also had thyroid before and extended many years, but not once i felt bulging eyes. I think its called grave disease? You should check on it. Find an endocryne to check on it.Hi Jennifer,

I am diagnosed to have Grave's disease. But I do not think my eyes are bulging now :xedfingers:
Your GP recommends to see what specialist - eye or endocrine?
