Regarding the sch shoes...from the student handbook...it is stated that ...

Hello! An email has been sent to next year's Y2-Y6 informing us of a change in the school's code of conduct regarding shoes:

All students are to wear plain white socks and they must be clearly visible above the rim of the shoes. Socks that only cover the sole are not allowed.
Only track shoes and pure white canvas shoes are allowed in school. Track shoes are encouraged as they protect the feet and secure the ankles during physical activities.
Track shoes and shoe laces must not be flashy in design and colour.
The approved colour for shoes (and shoe laces) shall be white, or a dominant colour of blue, grey or black

Days prior to sch reopens... there'll be emails reminding students of their hair length ( for male students) , removal of hair coloring or nail polish...etc...

( i presume the sch bus operators were present today, like in the past yrs)...

Hello Augmum,

Happy the we get to see who else from the same pri Sch were posted to DHS.

We were told that they will post the class allocation on school website on 2 Jan. ya, terrible long q at the uniform and PE attire section. I got my DH to go and buy the books when it was the PSG talk so as to best the crowd. After the level head (or was it year head, I can't remember), many parent started leaving to go buy books or uniform. So many until Dr Foo had to stand up and ask the parents to better stay for the admin part as admin manager was talking abt payment of fees.

From the board I saw today, the school bus does not go to the western side of sg. I thought the school bus fare was very reasonable. Cheaper than the pri school bus fare and furthermore the bus won't fetch so early.

We decided to avoid the crowd and left after the talks. Will get it done next week.
