A friend found some lumps on her breast thru her own inspection and went to a Polyclinic to get a referral letter to SGH. 3 months later she got her appt and went thru a series of tests before being informed that she had stage 3 breast cancer. Her earliest appt for surgery and chemo was another 3 months later. Worried about her own health and frustrated with the delays in SGH for follow-up treatment, she decided to go Mt E. Within 2 days she had surgery done and chemo treatment started.

Cheap, Good or Fast. Can only choose 2 out of 3.

Life more important than money. If can afford and urgent, go private.

But cancer treatment is not one-off, and so it will be a fortune to look at and probably helps with the health insurance.
