My daughter plan to join string ensemble. We live a little far. It means she need to take her heavy bag+violin in the morning to school. Violin will be used for afternoon CCA. Where should she put her violin until CCA time? Thanks.

The bus operator sent confirmation about 1 week back. My DD on bus 4 one way is $130/mth
hi babyA,
where are you residing?? we also got the bus operator's confirmation a week ago, & fare quoted (for 2-way from CCK Loop) is $160 monthly.
to all,
is this a fair quote??
lastly, anyone knows what routes are respectively for Bus 3 & 4?? we weren't given any bus# by the operator during last week's phone confirmation .
:thankyou: -
Hi wfaith
I am off west coast road. Was told by the driver Bus 4 plies west coast-ulu Pandan-holland grove route. One way fare is 80% of two-way so I’m quoted $130 for one way. If it’s two-way it’ll be almost similar to yours at $160.
During registration, the bus operator gave a handout that listed the 5-band fare structure and based on bus size too. -

I live in Choa chu kang drive. $160+70 for CCA. 5.45am waiting downstairs. Much earlier (half hour) than other schools in the same area. Do not know why raffles school bus so early? -
due to changes to only one session in the new premises, SSTA has increase their bus capacity to fetch more kids. Hence, the journey will be longer for kids.

The only way to stop this absurd prices is to stop using them. Imagine my girl started off with $85 a month. Same address, same school

My girl is P3 next year.
Since all girls in new classes, what to bring for the first day- Next Monday? -
hi inj2008,
thanks for your sharing. looks like our gals are likely to be taking the same school bus. do you happen to know what's the bus#??
i thought an additional S$50 is typical for those taking CCA... yet it went up another S$20 ??!! :scared: -

where are you residing?? how many years back was your initial quote of S$85 (for 2-way?) ?
if you too are located in CCK, then it's really absurd that quote went up to almost 2-fold :yikes:
on the other, for most of us who wish not to deal with the horrible morning peak congestion along bukit timah road, what other alternatives can we have
?? -
Bukit Batok.
That was 6 years ago. My girl has completed P6 this year but I still have a younger one in P5 next year. That’s why I as asking if anyone would like to drive with us all car pool and chip in for petroleum car costs. Or take turns to drive our girls.
With this price the service is so bad, pick up time is way too early.
