Anybody have more information about the coming Friday Campfire/Welcoming Ceremony? Do the students need to attend? Any parents here had attended in previous years before? Can share with us?

Hello, my boy had shared that they need to attend and will be in school for the whole day.
Apparently, there is CCA roadshow in the afternoon.
Just to share what I had heard

For Sec 2 parents, did anyone receive a call from the macbook insurance co.? They called me in Dec saying that they need to meet up with us face to face and individually to hand over the insurance and to brief us on claim procedure. We didn't fix the time as we were going away. I found it very puzzling as shouldn't they do it in a group to be more productive or maybe just use written communication since parents are literate? The last thing I want is for someone to use this time to meet up and try to sell insurance to us.

I didn't receive any call.
Maybe I didn't take up the extra insurance, only AppleCare.

I'm glad the past 2 days have been great, my son really enjoyed the activities so far, & has only good things to say about the seniors conducting the activities too.

Hopefully, he'll still enjoy school as much once the real studying begins..

And, he was also \"pleasantly\" surprised, to know that there are a few other classmates who live far from school ^^

Thursday first lesson starts at 0915. Is this applicable to tomorrow
Thurs? What time must they be in school ?

Mondays and Tuesdays end with last period lunch 1350-1425. Does it mean official dismissal ie the time they can leave school, is 1350 like these 2 days ?
