      Hi, Crester,

Thanks for useful information..it is wonderful result. How they study the 10 subjects for o-level ? What are those 10 subjects ?

who are these students, that got 10 A1s ?

local students, Malaysian Chinese or China students ?

do you have the breakdown ?
out of these students, who scored 10 A1s:
how many are local, how many from China / Malaysia ?

There are a number of China students studying in St Nick, they are very academically focused.

Many of them at P1, joined Phase 2C, Phase 2CS or even Phase 3 : any ordinary, neighbourhood primary school.
(eg: Ang Mo Kio primary, Da Qiao primary, Townsville primary, Teck Ghee primary, Marymount Convent, etc)

In P1 and P2, they did well, transferred into CHIJ St Nicholas primary, at end of P2 to end of P4.
Then joined the Secondary, through affliation at Psle, for \"O\" level.
      This is their strategy.

I don't hv the nationalities of these 10A1 students.
To me, its not that impt. What's impt is Sng is able to guide the affiliates who came in with scores around 220( that yr COP for affiliates) and do well enough to go middle tier JCs.
Sng has a nurturing study environment. It is not overly stressful. Its results may not be as good as other premier Girls' School but Sng girls receive all-rounded education.

Well, in terms of scholars, there aren’t that many, for my level at least. That’s all I can and want to say.

Congrats to sng for the outstanding O levels results!

It is very stressful for my neighbour's dd who is in lower secondary level now. She is learning O level topics since sec 1.
Many of her classmates are having private tuitions to catch up with the tough curriculum.

Recently, my DD2's school takes in scholars only in sec 3.

Is SNG the only school to teach O level topics in S1? :yikes: But they haven't even weaned from PSLE! That must be very tough for the girls, esp for those with COP of around 220. :faint:
But as the saying goes: when there's no pain, there's no gain.

Psle is already over for morn than 2 months, all the girls already head start for their sec school life on the first week of the Jan. now everyone start to adopt sec life at Sngs regardless your psle score.

So is it true that the girls will learn O level topics even in S1? IMO, transition into sec sch curriculum is already quite tough by itself. How much more tougher it must be to learn the upper sec, i.e. O level topics. 🤷
