This is taken from 2015 module information booklet - 3rd language not contributed to overall score.

This year 2016, its score contributes to overall score.

I would like to know more about the innov pgm for jh1. We were given the schedule that it wil fall on tue, bt it does not indicate when it will start. My child has no idea too. And, the consolidation cls for various subj are for students to consult the subj teacher when they have doubts?

To clarify doubts, arrange consultation sessions with Teachers, think can do so via online LMS student portal.

Consolidation class is for weak students who are identified by the teachers, supposedly are compulsory to attend.

The school LMS should have a link about the IvP; last year it was sometime around end Jan. If I recall correctly, students who are interested will click on the link to apply for the program (and answer some questions). I think the lessons would start in Feb.

During DSA,My friend, who I shall call Mario(not his real name),and I were from a neighborhood school and applied for NJC DSA in 2014.Also to my knowledge,2 River Valley Primary School students applied for the interview.I did well in my screening round and so did the other 3,enough to earn me a place in the essay tests and interviews.I also performed superbly in the essay test(the principal later showed me my high score during the interview) and went on to the interview.

My friend and I did not make it.It could be our lack of interview skills, but I doubt so.The 2 River Valley kids did though, and were both given a place. This led me to think,Are the principal and the various commitees biased?River Valley Primary, for those who don’t know,is a school situated in Orchard Road, where students can be known to have millionaire parents.
Tell me in the comments what you think.
