My son was born in 2006. Deadline for PV is July this year. I will have to move nearer if he gets in cos I stay in Jurong West. I am worried he doesn't get in and want to select a backup school. How are my chances for Nan Hua? My hubby and I prefer schools with strong chinese values. Rulang and West Grove are the better performing schools in the west and I don't stay within 2km of either. Between Rulang, West Grove and Nan Hua, which school do I have a better chance with PV?
then you should try to get a PV position with all the three schools - quick ! if you are offered 3, then decide which to continue...I know of people doing PV at two separate schools \"simultaneously\"....taking kiasuism to new height ! -

Not only school bus uncles / aunties could be the risk factors in spilling the beans on the residential address, the kids in class will most likely be the ones who know the \"secret\" firstDo you guys know if the school bus will check the pick up address with the registered address at the school?
Also, for those of you who went thru the 2C balloting, what was your back-up plan in case you failed?
They have innocent ways of knowing each other and where they stay, or simply the form teacher will ask everyone where they stay.... -

You can check what Chief has consolidated so far:

It seems like for all 3 schools, for Phase 2C, there's definitely balloting within 1 km for the past few years. For Phase 2B, only balloting > 2km in year 2008 for Nanhua, and year 2009 for Rulang. So if you get PV + move nearby, you should get a pretty good chance. -

Hi Mummies,
Which school is better? Any feedback? -
yippee:
That is very subjective, and I don't think anyone can answer that.Hi Mummies,
Which school is better? Any feedback?
What is your criteria to rank one school as better than the other? Academic result? CCA? Facilities? Teachers?
I think the only fair question is \"which is your preferred school?\", and the answer to that can be found by looking at the result of the poll at the top of the page.
