For the Sec 1 start on O level stuff, I think so. For math, 1 or 1 page(not to sure is which) of our work was questions from O level
hi StillThinking,
today is end of week 5.
have you settled down, in Sec 1 (2016) ?
how do you find St Nick 2016 Sec 1 Cca hours, starting around 3.45 pm ?
from 1.45 pm after lunch until 3.45 pm (Cca start), how do Sec 1 occupy their time ?
for the Sports Cca, like Netball, Badminton, Hockey, etc : do you find it intensive & siong, training 3x per week ?
if train 3x per week, how to find time to study ? -

More and more Sng girls chose NYJC as First Choice too.gardenia64:
How many girls join the HCJC, RI, VJC and NJC ? Thanks.
In RI thread (page 533), it was mentioned that, 55 ex St Nicholas O level students joined 2016 Year 5 cohort, for A level.
http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum ... start=5320
from the same batch (2016 Year 5), how many went to Hwa Chong, Victoria JC and National JC ?
between Hwa Chong & RI, more St Nick girls usually tend to end up in RI, or HCI ?
between VJC & NJC, more girls tend to end up in VJC, or NJC ? -

In the past, a lot of them chose Anderson JC due to convenience, when AJC's cop was better than NYJC.
Now that NYJC has surpassed AJC, it is understandable that the better students will choose NYJC. -

Sry for the late reply. Anyways, I have settled down, at least I no longer get lost finding my class lol. I personally really like the school still. For CCA, usually, before the CCA starts, there are enrichment programs(like for me now, there's speech enrichment) or remedial. Enrichment programs are compulsory while remedial isn't, if you can cope and all. However, you can still go for the remedial lessons, just have to tell the subject teacher beforehand(my FT said so). There are also many spots in the school to do homework and all. If studying isn't the thing I want to do, I'll just go to the Student lounge to use the computer, watch tv, chill and all. On Wednesday, school ends at 2.15pm for me I'm quite sure, so I'll just have lunch and all and by that time, it would be past 2.45pm, which is the time the Student Lounge officially opens(or was it 2.30pm? :scratchhead: ). I am in Mind Games, so there's only 1 session per week. However, I think as long as I don't have any late work that I MUST hand in by that day, the 3 training should be fine(School isn't anymore the place I don't want to be in). Intensive or not, I think it would be no. My friends and Seniors(Example our PSL for Orientation) really enjoy it, and I saw they they have to do runs around the school every session, but that shouldn't be too bad, considering we have to do 2 round on the track every week before CNY and 3 after(It isn't very clear if it's only the week after CNY, or every week after CNY, but I think it's every week). It may not seem a lot, but we aren't allowed to stop(unless like perhaps shoelaces got untied or something), walk, or even jog(though I did yesterday but sped up when we were approaching the teachers who stood at the side to make sure none of us are walking). The minimum is like very fast jog or run. For studying, I think it may have been because of how much my Primary School gave before PSLE(It wasn't unreasonable, they increased it kinda slowly so I ended up being fine with doing like 1 revision paper and another 3 page worksheet everyday without producing bad quality work, which is actually good), I don't find it too tiring. I personally found that it was pretty little(now at least) though my classmates are always complaining to the teacher.StillThinking:

Actually, no. In my class, I think only like 5 stay in this area. I know some(ok more like many) who live in like Tiong Baru, Woodlands etc.

I was going thru the first few pages. I’ve only recently joined SNGS, there really isn’t much reason why I MUST lie. Thus, I would like to tell you that no, most of the girls aren’t snobbish and all. And the reason why it’s most is because of 1 person, who really isn’t exactly snobbish. I’m pretty sure she just misunderstood and since it wasn’t irl, I didn’t have time to explain some stuff(those stuff weren’t even close to my fault, none’s fault really). Also, when I was in Primary school, during the first 2 years, my classmates just kept picking on me for no reason(Though, after I went to the better class, things changed 100%, which is quite surprising, I was expecting another 4 years of sadness then) but it was totally different in SNGS. The teachers are very caring, though I have to mention that my Primary school(a neighbourhood school) also has very caring teachers.
