The Yr-5 boys/gals exchanged Valentine's Day gifts last Friday.
My boy bought V-Day gifts for a gal from his OG and a gal from his class. The boys/gals drew lots to decide on who they should give V-Day gifts to. They were not supposed to tell the other person(s) as it was meant to be a surprise. Sounds fun..
Happy Valentine's Day to all !! -
They went bedok camp yesterday. Quite an eye opener for girls perhaps. Sat on terrain or something like that. Got chance to shoot 3 bullets.

Shoot? My daughter didn't mention that. She was telling me about the obstacle course - she said she saw that she did better than some of the boys in her class! So she is keeping a low profile about that so as not to embarrass them. The thing she couldn't do was the the wall (too short!).
Anyway, the relaxed times are almost at an end. Although she will never admit it, I can see that my daughter is getting somewhat bored with only having fun. It's been like 4.5 months? -

I remember at one of the parent talks, the speaker said the honeymoon period ended with Orientation. Time to get down to working.octoberbaby:

Well, full timetable begins tomorrow. I have been making occasional noises over the past couple of weeks about not getting used to all the \"fun\" outings, so she should be prepared to get back to normal working mode. -

What Physics books are you looking for? Would you like to pm me the details? -
I think I’ve asked something similar before for Chem, but for other subjects (Physics, Econs) are there recommended texts? I know the teachers hand out incredibly thick chunks of notes, but I still think that reading a textbook is good for background. Does the school library have a "red spot" section of the most popular books? (A level books)

I don't recall my daughter having any Econs textbooks nor referring to any.
