          Time taken by bus from 8am to 1pm = 5 h
          Time taken by car from 10am to 1 pm= 3h
          (note: distance travelled the same)

          Ratio of time taken by
          bus:car
          5 : 3

          therefore ratio of speed of the
          bus : car
          3 : 5

          difference of speed ratio=5-3=2u

          2u =30
          1u = 30/2=15

          a) Speed of the bus = 3u = 3x15=45km/h
          b) Speed of the car = 5u= 5x15=75km/h

              If both the bus and the car were to set off at the same time from 10am to 1pm which is 3 hours, the car would have been 90km ahead of the bus.

              Speed of car is 30km/h faster than bus. So, 30km x 3hrs = 90km

              In actual fact, the bus was 90km away from the starting point when the car set off at 10am. Since the bus set off at the starting point at 8am and was 90km away at 10am,
              therefore 90km divide by 2hrs = 45km/hr

              The speed of the bus was 45km/hr.

                  hi daddy,(this sounds weird lol)

                  I think is 12cm?
                  cause its 252cm^2

                  I don’t know if I am correct cause the answer have decimals

                  0.5xbxh+Lxh=252
                  0.5xb+L=21
                  b+2L=42

                  16x0.5xbxh=Lxh
                  8b=L
                  2L=16b

                  17b=42
                  b=42/17
                  L=8b=19+13/17
                  2L=39+9/17
                  2h=12x2=24
                  Perimeter =39+9/17 +24
                  (63+9/17)cm or 63.53cm

                        M + $12 = B

                        5M + $60 = 5B

                        therefore 2M + (5M + $60) = $110

                        7M = $50

                        M = $7 1/7

                        B = $19 1/7
