If u have no connections to the school, then u will be under Phase 2C. Home-school distance only comes into play if there are more applicants than number of places left. Which school are u aiming for? Then we can point u to the correct website to check the school's ballotting history...ruhuasee:

This is the website for the Jurong West area balloting history: http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/content/jurong-westCurrently, i am look at West Grove, West Wood which is within 1 KM... is there any way (any site) of the primary schools around that same area instead of taking buses around to recki?
Thanks very much!
As u can see, West Grove every year always red means oversubscribed for <1km...West Wood depends on your luck, some years 1-2km then ballot...if u don't want the stress of going thru balloting, then Pioneer Primary is a very safe choice. -
Hi!
I am staying at Yishun. I am interested to send my son to Northland Primary because it is nearest to myhouse. But apparently it is very hard to get a place there. Now I am also considering PeiYing & Naval base. Anyone can give any comment/suggestion about these two primary schools?
Thanks & regards,
Sam -

this is from MOE website ....
In a small number of cases, there may be situations where the families are unable to remain at the address used for registration for the entire duration of the child’s primary school studies. Even so, a child who gains priority admission into a school through his/her distance category is required to reside at the address used for registration for at least 30 months from the commencement of the P1 registration exercise on 2 July 2015. If this condition is not met, MOE reserves the right to transfer the child to another school with vacancies, as the priority admission to the first school was based on the declared address used for registration. - See more at: https://www.moe.gov.sg/admissions/prima ... dress-used -
