Question about applying to the local unis:


This is a broad question and not pertaining to any faculty in particular. How do local unis consider applications? Consider a first cut off via UAS first, followed by grades of relevant H2 subjects? How important is personal statement, testimonials and CCAs?

My understanding is not all faculties require PS. I may be wrong

If I apply to my JC and they accept me to retake as JC student will I be able to drop out from JC if one Uni accept me after that ? Because I'm planning to apply all university

Why not?[/quote]How about the army thing ? Coz If I defer to retake as JC student and after that got accepted by one of the Uni and drop out from JC. Does that mean I'll join other batch of BMT? Coz JC batch BMT ends at April

The question is given your result you qualify for local u and hence the JC may not take u back to redo A levels. So u can’t disrupt ns.


Retake means doing it as private candidate.

U shop go talk to your JC principal asap

The undergraduates in the local uni usually get ONE degree unless they are admitted into a double degrees program which usually takes 4 years or more.

I went to unisim open house and they told me at least Cs in your H2 to be considered. My suggestion is for you to retake your A as a private candidate. Whatever, don't give up hope. There are still many paths to success, not necessary only through going to local uni.
