Any parents know whether SA1 covers all PSLE syllabus in your school? Or are there topics yet to be taught by school and hence excluded from SA1? Thanks.

I emailed teacher...her reply was to start 'web of life', and living things in their environment during March holidays...adaptations will be taught into term 3...so safe bet will be to finish these 2 topics before sa1. Trying to see if I can squeeze in adaptations', which is quite a lengthy topic.
Last one will be 'man's impact on environment'.

My DS school has not mentioned SA1 details but I believe there will be quite a bit of topics that will not be taught by then.

Received PSLE registration slip today!


DS did not pass to me when I got home. When he gave it to me 5 mins ago, he said\" mummy, just now I saw you in good mood, so don't want to spoil it and stress you\" ..

just covering 2 topics 'web of life' and 'living things in environment' is hard on top of revising other topics which she tends to forget.

the countdown to psle begins. she brought home the PSLE slip 2 days ago and we had to acknowledge.

it’s just to inform parents the subjects which the school has registered the child for. A4 size paper. detailed one will be given later.

Good thing that PSLE is FOC (ie no exam fee)

hubby never studied hanyu pinyin...so when he saw daughter's HYPY name, he freaked out...insisting the name on the PSLE paper was wrong :faint: i already explained that HYPY name has different spelling from dialect name. if not because son has his O level slip of paper pinned on the notice board, he would have gone on and on :slapshead:
