Tragedy struck this morning, involving the deaths of two SMRT maintenance staff on the tracks near Pasir Ris MRT station.

Due to an incident on the track at Pasir Ris, there are no train services between Tanah Merah and...Posted by SMRT on Monday, 21 March 2016 It was only later on that SMRT announced that the service disruption was due to an accident along the track at a servicing point near Pasir Ris station.
The incident — yet to be revealed in detail by the public transport operators — resulted in the deaths of two of their staff.
\"We convey our deepest condolences to their families and are providing support to them at this very difficult time,\" they stated. \"We are working with the Police to conduct a detailed investigation into this accident.\"

                    Confirm is collision???????

SINGAPORE — Rescuers have extricated the bodies of the two SMRT maintenance staff who were killed in a track accident near the Pasir Ris MRT station on Tuesday morning (March 22). The train that was involved in the accident was also seen slowing moving back into the station around 1.15pm.

                    http://www.todayonline.com/singapore/bo ... extricated

                    earlier version say train collision

look like the train collided with the workers, not train to train collision
