      You kidding me :yikes:
School sent out SA1 topics while CA is going on??? This is scary. What are the additional topics which will be tested?

Tell me about it! The additional topics include Circles and Speed but exclude Nets and Pie Charts. I wonder whether the school can really cover the new topics and revise at the same time by the SA1s. My dd's math SA1 paper is on 13/5. :faint:

      What is Nets?

supposed to coach daughter in science topic on living things and their environment…but worried if she can remember topics taught earlier…in the end didn’t start anything new last week. for science, she can’t remember by listening to the teacher…she can only remember by doing revision after that…through questions, she will learn what has been taught…very much a visual person.

Problem with my dd is that even if she knows the method, theory and concepts, when the question is worded a different way or is twisted and asked in a different manner, she'd be stumped 🤷
So I guess she will improve by exposing her to more varieties of questions. Trouble is where got so much time?! 😢

That’s why the general comments are that boys do better in Maths and Science, girls in languages.

actually the question is testing same concept...but once worded differently, my girl will be stumped. is it because boys and girls are wired differently?
