Has anyone tried those where you can rent a super nicely themed/hipster vibe rooms/spaces? Always been curious about how its really like cuz i see it to shows but dont know if true or not. Scared later go there then disappointed. Planning a trip overseas soon so hope someone can help.

Are you referring to Airbnb?
Most of the time, WYSIWYG. -

Very rarely it seems to me. Unless got super special occasions like V-day, or hotel celebrating anniversary. If its F-1 race period the prices go through the roof. :skeptical: -
Haven't checked out their site for a while, they just posted photos of Sofitel So Singapore. Sooooooo beautiful! I am in love!

Hilton is having 40% off hotel worldwide go check it out -
Agoda.com is always ideal, especially for the Asian countries i’ve travelled to.

i always use expedia- they got best price in my opinion especially when you subscribe to their mailing list and they have quite frequent private sales (up to 50% one)
best is use https://www.shopback.sg/expedia when you buy. shopback will pay you 8% cashback on hotels (means my family book to japan for $2000 total on hotels, 8% means i save $160 extra + i use my miles credit card to chalk up miles)
very decent and highly recommended for you to try!! -
Actually I thought Hotels.com is not too bad with 1 free night after 10 nights booked... But seems Expedia also have this now.
Once I tried Booking.com... When I booked out from my holiday destination, was informed by hotel staff that we have to pay. Apparently, unlike the other two websites I mentioned above, Booking.com do not deduct payment... So kana last minute look for enough cash to pay hotel or pay extra 3-5% credit card fees there... Actually both are alright except was caught unaware loh

For Asia Country I always use AGODA.
For Europe I will use airbnb.com.sg -
I use booking.com and agoda.com mostly. Depending on the country, local travel sites may offer better deals too! :imcool:
