does the school welcome - speech delay kids, mild dyslexia kids ?

at K1, K2 level - what’s the maximum class size per class?
how many form teachers per class? 1 or 2 ?
if 2 teachers, are they fixed permanently to each class, or ‘float’ around from class to class, sometimes you see them, sometimes you don’t ?

does the school prepare kids well for Primary 1 Normal chinese ?

            Thanks for feedback!

Hi, yes the school accepts kids with special needs. There are a few autistic children there.

err, can’t remem how many kids there are in the class, (maybe 20? Haha, I need to dig out the class pics and count!)

There are 2 form teachers (fixed - one chinese, one english), and an assistant teacher.

Chinese - my kids chinese still very poor, but can’t blame the kindy cos we make no effort to speak it at home! Though their Ch teacher has called them up for remedial lessons before!

My child currently attends this school. The school is relatively small, 4 classes with a morning and afternoon session each. What this means is he is in a tight community where the principal, teachers and admin staff know all (if not most of) the kids by name. You will know your child is in safe and experienced hands, and I believe he will enjoy the learning process as there are plenty of creative and engaging activities peppered throughout the school year.

While FEK has a robust academic curriculum, what my Husband and I appreciate most is the character building aspect they instill in the child. This is something I find lacking in a lot of other preschools (including premium ones). We are very thankful that we chanced upon this school and while there are plenty of other preschool choices in the same vicinity, we are very happy with our enrolment decision and will not have it any other way. Lastly, I also like the idea that the school has had a fairly long history, and unless there is a major rezoning of this place by the authorities, my child is going to grow up knowing he has spent his earlier years in this wonderful institution and that he can always revisit it with fond memories in the future.
