If you could, would you decide on a 3rd child?

Our DD is 19mths older than our DS,

Our #2 is 2.5years older than our #3 son.

      My take is,
if we want to have kids, take the bitter step, bite the bullet, once a for all...
Pop all out & let them be friends more than siblings.

We won't want to press our \"restart\" button after our elder ones are much older.

Decide now to have #3 or not. 🙂

I spoke to my friends of over 40years old,
most of them will want to have 1 or 2 more kids if they can turn back the clock... 😞

Every kid addition to a family is definitely a blessing.

            If could financially, why not?

I will not hesitate even the 5th, which my wife yearn for it. 😄

I envy you lot, can talk about a 3rd child. I only have the single precious one.

I know for a fact I will regret it if I don't have another.

Plus this stupid random world of ours.... It's not that I'm broke or poor; it's just that there is simply no assurance that our children can have a decent life in this world. It's all I can do to keep this single one safe and happy. 😞

it's the quality that counts, not the quantity. 😛

I already dun have enough time to spend with my second bb. 😞

Agree with most that we should give the BEST of the BEST to the few (or one) that we have.

Some no time, some no money, some no energy.

30-40 years later (hopefully we’re still alive),
these few (or one) that we love so much will face the same as us now.
No time, No money, No energy,
they may wish that they have no toothless, aged parents…

                    Just my humble 2 cents.

                      Hi hi,

Surprised that this thread is still alive… hehe…

Actually we might have come to a conclusion to stop at 2. Given that my 2nd one is really taking away most of my energy (or whatever that’s left).

I have a friend who play alot with with my 2 boys, she teaches lots of children and her sis is a child psychologist. She has talked to her sis about my boys’ behaviour when she plays with them.

She commented both boy’s behaviour are at ‘abnormal range’ for their age and that I might want to have both my boys assessed by her sis for their IQ becos she said that it’s very likely one or both of them have very high IQ. And that my 2nd boy is likely to be gifted.

And my 2nd boy (now 20 months) is making us ‘crazy’, really. He’s totally obsessed and stubborn and insists his ways when it comes to certain things.

We don’t think we have the energy level left and we don’t want to ignore the 3rd child as it will be unfair.
