        Thanks to VeryKaisu2010 and CoffeeCat.

NUS too far, so I’ve gotten from this enrichment centre called Maths Oasis when visiting with a friend. By the way, anyone heard of their Maths Olmpiad courses - are they good? Any recommended ones from any experienced parents / kids?

        Thanks in advance.

Currently the most notables ones are mathoasis, mathshub, learning interactive and to a certain extent, global education. This is what I gathered from kiasuparents, their websites and an industry insider.

              Which competitions?
For SMOPS, they have recently limited to p6 only.
NMOS is pitched at p5 level, off limit to p6, p4 are allowed to take part.

wah could u (or izzit your child) be the next lim jeck flying under the radar ? Any interesting questions to share? The non routine ones are truly interesting and mind boggling.

my child did some practices and enjoys it, and so we did not want to murder enthusiasm

so far has not gotten 100% either in school or math olympiad

from my observation - personal opinion only - math hub in bukit batok has many PRC kids, class size bigger, teacher has less time to go into details....not for the fainthearted nor the quiet learner

for global - class size smaller. two of the teachers are good; today i was not happy with one of the teachers who delayed in explaining a challenging question for two weeks....(just got feedback from my child today in the car)..it seems math oasis is well regarded too

i think math oasis leans more on RI math competition, others are more concentrating on SMOPS and NMOS and AMC

What's the challenging question that was delayed? must be quite challenging indeed.
