Hi nicnac, at least u got to know your dd's errors or weaknesses and can pay more attention and work on those areas before the actual exam. All the best in preparations!I do not check my DD school files.. But this afternoon, I was looking for a piece of school circular and I chanced upon a ScI revision paper she did in school last month... I want to :faint:.
Most of her answers were wrong.. Wrongly phrased, giving generic answers( not addressed to the question asked), not using the 'key' words... I am so :nailbite:
for the coming SA1. -

Wow some of us here have SA starting next week, that's early.
Eh, not this week? Paper 1? I just try to make sure ds1 does his homework. Other than that, feel rather switched off. I think I am getting old. -

His exams including Paper 1 starts 1st week of May. Yes same here, mostly making sure he does his hw promptly.bgmum:

Seems like all sch push more homework for P6s.
When P5, I still could go through oral with my DS a few days before his oral exam, now no time for anything extra. He just had oral this week without "practice", hope it will be good as his SA1 results is important for DSA. -
Likewise here, no time to do proper revision. I just hope that by the actual SA1, dd won't forget everything, which she has the tendency of doing. Sigh :faint:

I sure hope dd learns from it and make a conscious effort to put what she has learned into practise. :xedfingers:

looks like many schools are pushing homework for P6s. my daughter has been given MCQs as homework for science from past year exam papers.Seems like all sch push more homework for P6s.

i can't bear to add on to her workload...so just have to make sure she completes daily school work. -
Geez! It sounds like itβs typical of P6 kid to go through the same thing - tonnes of homework, revision papers and little or no time for exam revision.

Ds' sch advised parents not to give additional assessments to the P6ers. Leave it to the sch to prep them for PSLE. I think I'll leave it to the professionals then. Save me from getting high BP too.
