He is nowhere near the front, but neither is he at the back (except for maybe the languages? Hmm)
Why he doesn't know? Is it bcoz when one is in front of the pack, there's no one to look out for?huaywenandkenneth:
My boy didn't even know what marks his friends get for the past years! :whut:
加油 to all (parents and children) for the upcoming SA1!
Haha, just kidding. No stress okay?
He's just a happy sandwiched guy at the end of the day, I guess. Not stressed at all.
I am definitely more kancheong spider than him. -
Most parents are the kancheong ones…usual case.

Hi, had any parents’ children gone for the Piquelab Learning Centre CCI program?
May I know if the program is good?
Thank you. -
Saw a number of earlier posts on homework.
We are one of those who are totally overloaded. In our case, one particular teacher piles them with mountains of homework…very hardworking and well meaning teacher but nevertheless over-zealous. Now DS has no time for any other subject. Have tried talking to the teacher to no avail…the teacher firmly believes that practice makes perfect. Many of his classmates are having late nights due to this. That can’t be good for anyone.
DS2 just told me he doesn’t care how he does his hw as long as he completes it…this goes against all our values …that when it comes to hw, quality is more important than quantity.
Sigh… -
When kids are piled with homework, the objective is to complete. Forget quality. I’ve been monitoring daughter’s workload. She has homework for 3 subjects almost daily (exempted from MT). But she asked me to do proper revision for some topics because she doesn’t understand the questions in past year exam papers.

DS school doesn’t have much homework. Even with supplementary class, he will be done with his homework by dinner time. I have no complaints for that… only thing is that because of that, he is still in his Lalaland, thinking no difference in PSLE year versus the rest. He has no tuition and has been managing ok, not fantastic but at least manage to squeeze into the top class every year. I am a bit stressed reading everything that is done in other schools, hope his school is well prepared as well !!!

I suppose it really depends on the subject teachers of your DS. Cannot really compare with other schools I suppose. Probably can ask the teachers during the next PTM. -
