        Have you been to Grandma's?

It's a family restaurant that serves local and western cuisines.
We like it because we eat local and kid eats western.
        Food is good.

The prices are normal restaurant rate.

          Is Grandma’s at OG???

For us, it’s usually Jumbo or Long beach.

But this year, I have sudden thoughts of bringing my mum to a hokkien restaurant that we used to frequent at telok ayer street.

                    hi tankee,

we haven’t been there in months. but the food is healthy, suitable for elderly, i’m really not too concern with the service la. if you go when they’re crowded, i suppose their service may be lacking, but so will other places.

i guess other suggestions wld be the usual ding tai fung, soup restaurant, crystal jade, dian xiao er…these places serve food that my folks like.

I would think Mother's day all good restaraunt would be crowded, thus better choose one that has good service and not risk getting all fustrated. 😄

Yes. We like the hokkien mee, kong bak pau and xia zhao..... There is another along that stretch. Can't remember the name.
