The女 writing is clarified. The 2nd stroke撇 "can" stick out above the 3rd stroke 横。 though it should be "must". Anyway my daughter has learnt the correct version at least.

Thanks shansoo for your sharing. My dd has a strict CL teacher in her p1/p2 years and the teacher was also particular about how the strokes were written (& which was quite different from how I was taught in sch last time). Then, I realised many characters that I thought I knew how to write were actually wrong or not written in the correct style. Something to do with one style vs another (楷书)I gave up trying to correct dd and ask her to follow her teacher's style in the end. 🤷

Can I confirm Pei Hwa does not have GEP class right? So does all kids who pass the GEP examinations all go to NYPS? Hmm…

I don't think \"all\" kids will go NYPS, some boys may choose ACS, if they have younger boy sibling, as parents will also look for Sec school affiliation. Or some girls may choose RGPS if they have younger sister for P1 registration.

From what I know, majority of those from Pei Hwa will pick NYPS. Their HCL will blend in smoothly with the NYPS’s sch culture. In any case the GEB will organise a briefing to the selected kids & their parents and there will be booths to underst the 9 GEP schs better before making a choice.

Hi Jennifer! Thanks, that could be a possible holding school. I think the compound looks big enough and there doesnt seem to be serious issues on traffic too. Still have not heard from pei hwa on the move yet.

Yes seems like that way. I know a few kids chose rgs and nhps while most go to nyps. Also know of a kid who transferred from nhps to nyps too after gep selection.
