      TTBCOOL:

Just curious to know why History is not popular with many students? Is it due to very difficult to score or very content heavy or simply many students are not interested in this subject. My child will be in JC1 next year and she is currently taking History. Thus, would like to find out more as this is a possible subject that she might be taking. In terms of content, is there a great jump form secondary level History to JC History? Any advice is welcome. TIA.

      I have PM you.

              A better tomorrow:
Hi I would like to ask which jcs uses electronic devices etc tablet / laptop instead of textbooks for lessons whereby textbooks are mainly e books . Thanks in advance !

All JCs have very good notes prepared by their teachers. Lecturers use lecture notes and tutors use tutorials in teaching.

Students are expected to read the textbooks on their own when they do self study. Textbooks (hardcopy or softcopy) are expected to be brought to school.

Power up your future with high quality small group tuition.

Hmm... depends on the school. Some JCs don't use textbooks at all. And the kids don't purchase any.

Same here. My son from VJC doesn't take Lit. He uses only the notes from school for his subjs.
I am very curious. Which JCs expect their students to bring the subj text to school?
Also it is not true that all JCs hv good notes. My son doesn't think the notes for one of his subjs is good enough. His sch mates think likewise. He says the ones from Tampines JC are pretty solid. Tampines JC has excellent distinction rates for that subj.

If u don't mind sharing, which subject has excellent distinction rates from TPJC?

Hallo it's economics. I hvnt actually got the time to look at them yet. Accordg to unverified sources, Tampines JC had 60+% distinctions in economics. If this is true, I am very impress.
