1st maid fresh Fillipina but ex UAE, clean and efficient but demanding.

Always spoke of HOME and rights of the maid. This is when I gave her 2 off days even though she is paying off loan.
Gave her so many loans, presents I forget… She left after contract finished.
2nd maid transfer filipina declared she can’t manage work when she only been in my house 3hrs and didn’t do anything. I had my 1st maid waiting to be transferred and my Amah’s maid at home too…
My house is not 3storey, only 4 ppl!
She left after bf problem and endless talk of giving fat Angpow.
3rd maid for Amah ( myanmar ex sg)was lazy, didn’t want to work. Left after 1 month.
Now my current maid who started off slow ( ex sg myanmar) love my baby and that’s all I really want.
She try to squeeze in house work when time permits.
I have so many bad experience with filipina maids, I really don’t want to hire them any more. Fresh, ex SG, transfer all same.
Filipina maids are friendly so friendly after few off days half of Singapore maids are friends with your new fresh maid.
Will say " my Aunty, my cousin" but really related ? Nooo…

For a piece of mind I would stick with ex SG myanmar maids…

I agree \"experience\" comes with a price... They quite \"geng\" but I don't have any experience with Myanmar maids... How are their general language abilities? The main people they are communicating with in my case would be my in laws who don't speak malay and some English only.

Hi, fresh Myanmar ones.. English almost ZERO, unless you are a very paitient person which I am not, is a bad idea.
However Chiristian myanmar maids can pick up quickly and can communicate little( very little compared to none)
Ex sg myanmar ones who have elderly care experience can speak some Mandarin and hokkien, depending what dialect group her last employer is.
My amah's ex maid spoke very good mandarin and hokkien, she is from an area where they have a lot of chinese people coming and going.
Amah's current maid ( ex sg myanmar) also speak Hokkien but no mandarin.
My Myanmar maid can't speak chinese as she only did childcare, she sing to my baby and try to read to him.

My in laws loved their recently ex maid as she cooked really well ( sold food in Myanmar) spoke Chinese. We all pray she return soon.

A lot of ex St Myanmar maids prefer elderly care, not sure why.
Even my current maid who love my baby, originally requested for elderly care, agent refused because she is good with children. Lol
Bad luck for her but good luck for me.
