Setting easy papers may lead to overconfidence...but tough papers may not necessarily serve its purpose. Kids get demoralized and unhappy when parents want to revise and drill for PSLE. There is also prelims in August.

They find that no matter how hard they work...how much effort they put in, the papers are difficult.
Yeah!!! These math papers are getting tougher. The SA1 exam paper is one such example. I don't know what the teachers are thinking, really, what is their ulterior motive??? When I was studying for 'O' Level, the same situation happened! :stupid: :frustrated:

schools want their students to wake up by setting tough papers 🤷 even son's sec 4 english comprehension passage was more like a literature passage :siao:

Last yr papers were not easy , rather tricky . The easy papers era only last for 2 or 3 yrs n game over . Likely most pri sch wants the kids to always be on alert mode to tackle challenging papers ahead. Give lots of love n support to our dc ! Jia you

TLC = tender loving care. our kids will need lots of that to get through the prelims and PSLE.

May I know what are the tentative dates of PSLE results, School selection, results of schools posting and going to new school for reporting?

Thinking of planning a break in between…

As for school selection, you can take reference from last year dates:

2016 psle booklet from SEAB is out…teachers have discouraged the girls NOT to use correction tape…i’ve been reminding daughter to cut down since end of last year.
