My girl is in P2. So far so good. I am happy that my girl doesn't have alot of homework and seems to be coping well without tuition. The kids in her class are very cooperative and harmonious and teachers are good. So I am grateful. -

Hi, I'm Mom to a p3 girl. Can anyone advise if it's normal that our kids results \"deteriorate\" as they advance? My dd used to get over 90% for all subjects in p1 & 2. But for this SA1, she's been getting 80+% for all the papers.. am I being paranoid?
P2 to P3 SA1 is almost the same for my DS, though he is now in a more competitive class. Our expectations need to be adjusted. -

So far I have not heard negative comments about the school from any parents, so I guess their kids must have good experience in the school. -

Very hard to find any negative comments, I think that is main reason parents take NYPS as 1st choice when selecting school.Oh My Gosh:

I just paid $1000 for nyps alumni. One question, is it necessary to volunteer at for example their upcoming nygh fun fair? Does it make a diff in the enrolment of my son? They asking for donations and to help set up stalls there.

You will already be registering at phase 2A1. However, many alumni would have paid $1k to join the association for the benefit of the earlier phase as well, so it's really anybody's guess whether there will be balloting at 2A1.
I would say P1 registration has little, if any, to do with helping out at NYGH. It will not put you in a better stead at phase 2A1. However, it might be of some relevance if you have been helping out at NYPS in the event that you do not get a seat at P1 registration. -

Is it a lifetime membership? Or renewable with a fee? -
