This might be abit off the topic - Any nice mummies can tell me what's the difference between RGPS n HPPS? I live nearer to HPPS but seems that RGPS is a better school in terms of academic. But not sure abt the stress level tot...

I am not able to advise on lower primary as my girl entered RGPS in P4 - P6 (2012 - 2014 ).
As a whole, she enjoyed her learning journey and blessed with teachers who are dedicated and caring. The trs are there to provide hand holding sessions for weaker students with extra classes.

Esp towards PSLE, the trs are pumping alot of efforts to drive the girls to their fullest potentials. Even for simple oral conversation, my girl's HCL tr would point out her strengths and how to tackle those weaknesses. It boosted her confidence level. At one stage, the class did extremely well for P6 Maths and were rewarded with pizzas. These little acts speak volume in motivating the girls.

Be it HPPS or RGPS, stress is an inevitable part and it all depends how the child embraces it.
For my girl, time management is a real challenge as she has to manage due to projects, tests and research datelines.

thanks mummy for your valuable comment πŸ˜„

I am not sure what does RGPS leader mean. My girl was awarded RGPS Girl in P3, at that time she was only a monitor, no other "title", and subsequently received "Golden Character Award" in P4. I have no clue what is the criteria to be selected as "RGPS Girl".

Congratulations! I think that \" RGPS Girl\" is a great honour, only a few win the award.

Congratulations, Mishasha and to your outstanding P4 daughter !

To be awarded \"RGPS Girl\" in P3 (a great honor), and to be awarded \"Golden Character Award\" in P4, consecutively : no mean feat !

                  warmest, heartiest :congrats:

                  may we clarify ?
                  P4 \"Golden Character Award\" -
is it given to only one outstanding student per level, or given to each class (one student, per class) per level ?

This is the one relatively near to RGPS

RGPS is starting the student care within the school soon. You may be briefed during orientation.
