      kathyh:
      P4...CCA is compulsory?

Hi kathyh, CCA is not compulsory, only \"strongly encouraged\". This is stated in the school notification; a hard copy would have been disseminated & a soft copy can be found on the Nan Hua Pri website titled \"Notes to Parents 2016 - January\".

Just heard that Nan Hua junior girls table tennis team has successfully progress into the semi-finals of the National Primary school championship. Congratulations and all the best!

              Hi All

Is Nan Hua Primary stressful to studyl? I read P1 and P2 are not so stress..but any feedback for P3 to P6? πŸ™‚ I heard that NH is a very strict and academic driven school. Any parents who can help to feedback? Appreciate your kindness to share. πŸ™‚

P1 to P3 are quite relax. P4 onwards especially if your kid is in one of the Tag classes, there's more projects and homework. P5 to P6 will be the high key years in order to prepare for PSLE. So definitely alot more busy. Is NH academically driven? Well, i think it has a balanced focus on academic, values and cca. Is it a stressful place to study? Well, it depends on your expectations on your kids. Most of the time, I think parents stress out the kids more than the school stressing out the kids.

More nerve-wrecking than walking into quiet washroom on this 1st day of 7th mth; walking into auditorium for p1 balloting exercise. πŸ™ And being the last few to be picked. :faint: It's so cruel to those who were not selected though. Anyway, looking forward to learning from the senior parents here, and maybe also to helping newbies like me few years down the road.

Hi we are living at BB too. My son is in P1 this year. School bus arrives at 6.13am πŸ˜“ and sends him back at 2.10pm. $121/both ways per mth. Hope this helps.

I'm also open to carpooling/car sharing or alternative transport options. πŸ˜„
