I can drink the brandy neat and still be wide awake. A bit giggly maybe but wide awake. 😆

Notice that a few ladies here take naps. Such a luxury to be able to sleep. As it is, I have a hard time clocking 8hrs of sleep a night. I am not talking about not having the time to sleep, I have the time but just don't have that sleep DNA. If I nap I will be wide awake come bedtime. For me 5hrs is considered good, 6hrs excellent, beyond 7 hours I will have a pounding headache the rest of the day.

I don’t usually dream. Not sure if when I do sleep it is that deep that I don’t dream or I don’t even have a chance to enter REM stage that is why no dreams. My sleep is usually ‘broken’, sleep and wake up about 2hrs later, take about 20-30mins to fall back asleep only to wake up about 2hrs later again. Worse when DH is in town.

              You not using ear plugs?

I started using them, on some mornings, hubby has to wake me up as I could not hear my alarm clock ringing.

ST, I feel that you should apply for sabbatical leave and stay away from your present day job for a few months. The work environment is sapping you of positive energy. Ultimately it is your own health and mental wellbeing that will suffer.

                      Tks jennifer

There is little doubt my job has an impact on my well being
If i hv impt mtgs or tasks to handle soon, i would even dream of them
Mine is dynamic and once i leave, there is no way to find a similar one & i hv literally no other skill-set to make me employable
Well, i hv to press on till age 55, still abt 7 yrs more to go

                        Why are you belittling yourself?

No way you do not have other skill sets, have more confidence in yourself, ST.
