      Jennifer:
Whenever I eat a hot bowl of noodle soup, I start to sweat more, 豆大汗珠 drip from the arms and legs 🤷

Oh, were you prone to perspire a lot even before you had hyperthyroidism? Some people have more active sweat glands. I didn't perspire more than I usually did even when I had hyperthyroidism. Just felt unbearably warm/hot. Couldn't wear black. But after I started medication, I no longer feel terribly hot. So it seems a bit strange to me why you are still sweating profusely despite being on medication and your other indexes have generally normalised.

Previously I do not have sweating issues.

Only when I do household chores or eat hot soupy food, then the sweat glands become overly active.

        🤷

I also started to have sweaty palms.

I see. Let's hope that your sweating issues will go away after your TRAB normalises.

            Trab went down to 4+

Doc said must wait till Trab cannot be detected before I can be totally off medicine.

The easily sweating condition could be due to metabolism raised by the thyroid disorder, might go away, might not go away.

Can’t remember which is the one slightly in the red. At my recent checkup, the doctor said it is not serious although she won’t let me reduce to once a year. Mine is hypothyroidism.

                    That's good news 🙂

My Trab was 5+ in June 2015 and only came down to 2+ in Feb this year when my T3, T4 and TSH have just become normal. By June this year, it became less than 1, which is the normal range. So it really moves very slowly. Do be patient.

My doc has decreased my medication to 5mg per week. And I'll be done with the medicine after 4 weeks 🙂

Now I on 5mg from Mon to Thurs, then 10mg from Fri to Sun for 4 weeks. Then 5mg from Mon to Fri, 10mg on Sat/Sun for 4 weeks. The last month will be 5mg on all days.

                      :xedfingers:

Have you been on daily dosage ever since you sought treatment?

I can’t remember exactly when I stopped taking medicine on a daily basis, but I have been on 5mg for 4 times a week for quite a while, then it tapered down to 3 times a week, and then twice a week, and then it went up to 4 times a week to reduce the size of my nodule, then 3 times again, and then twice a week, until now 2.5mg twice a week. Each time the dosage given was for 6 weeks, and occasionally 8 weeks.

We sought treatment at about the same time so I am quite surprised that you are still on daily medication. Try not to be stressed and have more sleep. You are not a fan of seaweed, are you?
