Morning Star is bidding to operate a student care in HIPS holding site although I don't think there will be a lot of space for the student care on the site. Morning Star will still operate the current site at Lor Low Koon from 2017-2018.

sorry i am new to this student care thingy

for those school without student care within the school compound, how do student get there ? what is the logistic arrangement like ?

Morning Star facilitators will bring the children from the Centre to School and vice versa. It’s opposite HIPS, just need to use 1 zebra crossing. Morning Star has students from XinMin Primary and Our Lady of Nativity, they use the Student Care school bus.

i see i see then still not bad .. but given that they moving to the temp location
then that will be a problem esp if they cant get to operate within the temp location

i supposed , the student care school bus need to top up extra $$ right ??

as much as i would like to register my boy in this school but the student care .. logistic is a headache.. that is the reason that push me away from this school :oops:

but i know several of my boy classmate will be attending this school

So late[/quote]Yes, my girl was registered via phase 1. It might be the shifting to the temporary site as they also need to settle down everything before holding the orientation for all P1 kids.

Are you working mum? How you going to send your girl to school next year?

My Hubby will be ferrying her. ur?

You have another child in the same school?
So how do you find the school, can share (academic)?
So far have not been having very good experiences with the Admin.

are you in Sengkang or Hougang area.

I dont find much to read abt on HIPS. Dont seem very active here or Facebook.
Wonder if there is any P1 group chat for next yr to join!

Hi, I am a working mum too.

I have an elder girl who is in P2. For academic, really depend on individually lor. Some said very stressed as every term they have tests.

Why you said you have bad experiences with the Admin? What had happened? Mind to share.

For the chatgroup, I know 2 mummies whose girls also in HIPS next year. Will create it when nearer.

Great! do keep me posted please for the chatgroup.

As for the Admin, just find they are not very organised.
Have to go back n forth afew times on an enquiry.

During Registration, forgotten to give out some forms to fill, had to rush back to complete. :roll:
