Hi, yes these are the ones. The Southeast Asia books are the ones for Core History only and the Modern World books can be used for both Core and Elective History students.

My son failed badly (1/5) in his first test for History Inference. Can someone help me on how to coach him on inference?
Thanks
Hello kiasuparents and students,
I would like to recommend a friend of mine who is an excellent History/ Social Studies tutor that has personally given me invaluable guidance. He is committed to helping his students excel in the upcoming SA2 or O Level examinations, and has a background in RI, RJ, NUS Medicine and is currently working as a medical doctor (yes!). Limited slots are available because of his busy schedule, but if you are looking for a tutor to help you get that A, I believe he is your go-to person.
For details please PM me or contact 97884680.
All the best to everybody! -
I would recommend CGP GCSE books. These cover the UK GCSEs. UK GCSES are stretching and request candidates to display reasoning skills. Try resources from OCR syllabuses A and B Modern World history. OCR are owned by the same company as your CIE so may be useful to you. OCR have many useful text resources on their website.
