Online application is available round the clock i.e. even after the office closes. So there's the possibility of online applications being done at mid nite or 2am etc etc. This won't be reflected in MOE's update (done daily around 8pm every night).Double E:

I guess the only firm number we can count on is the MOE website in the evening of Thurs 28th June. That's becos online applications would have closed at 4.30pm. -

Those applying for River Valley pri, heard that admin has asked PRs not to register and come only on the last day. Also, ballot is likely for 1-2km.

I thought it was avaialble round the clock. MOE's website says:
Starting from 9.00 am on 26 July 2016 to 4.30 pm on 28 July 2016. -

Orb, I kinda agree too. But I guess with the number of surprise vacancies this year, everyone can be more selective about the schools out there.
orb/technospaz, thanks for your kind replies. i understand the situation and chances, but my friend's hoping for the best for her kid (like any other parents) - she will have to make her personal best choice on this. -
