Both schools you mentioned are fully subscribed as of day 2 nonetheless (not sure breakdown).

Many popular schools are still not fully subscribed - MGS  , RGPS, SJIJ, Maris Stella (SAP), Kuo Chuan, PLMGS, Holy Innocents (SAP) etc. Those fighting tooth and nail at Seng Kang can consider HIPS, it's not that far away.

Very envious of this year's parents. 😂

Looking at the stiff balloting at younger estates, think parents prefer to place kids in nearby schools instead of faraway branded ones.

SPRs will have better school choices and chances this year.

Want to go CHIJ just go lah... unless you have dragon boy waiting... then choose wisely.

Those citizens balloting at Alexandra, Seng Kang, Tampines etc, can some of you please try to get a seat in the under-subscribed popular schools while you still have a chance?

Will I be right to say there might be a surge in the applications tomorrow at the popular schools

which as of today still is not over subscribed …
Any history to reflect how high the surge might be tomorrow last 2C day??

CHIJ St Nick most likely ballot within 1km SC.

All the best to you and wish you get the school of your choice.

May or may not have a surge. Most pple within 1km would have applied by first 2 days. 3rd day is usually for those who are unsure.

However some years, there were a few people <1km registering in the final hour, throwing some parents who are >1km into a fix.

So if you are >1km and eyeing a school with very limited vacancies for your home-school distance, you have to watch like a hawk and not waste your Phase 2C chance at a school with no chance of a ballot even.

Also an appeal to those who can't make up their minds, please put in your bets by 2pm so that other parents can withdraw in time.
